From June, 21-22, the 41st Annual Meeting of the MD Anderson Radiation Oncology Gilbert H. Fletcher Society takes place at OncoRay/University proton therapy Dresden. The central topic will be “Particle Therapy”. Around 35 scientists from all over the world come together to discuss the latest developments in radiation oncology research. The top-class meeting is organized by the Gilbert H. Fletcher Society´s president Howard Thames together with Mechthild Krause, head of the OncoRay Center and the University Proton Therapy Dresden. Also this year a researcher receives the Gilbert H. Fletcher Society Gold Medal for outstanding achievements.
